Family Court is unlike any other court in New York. It can be disorienting for CASA volunteers, program staff, parents, foster parents and family members alike. In this workshop, Judy will walk participants through the fundamentals of the structure, operations and procedures of Family Court. Time for questions will be included. This is a great refresher for veteran CASA volunteers and program staff, and equally relevant to the CASA volunteer experience.

Presented by Judith M. Gerber, Esq., Chief Attorney of the Attorney for Children Unit at the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo. Judith is also a member of the Board of Directors of CASA of New York State.
