2 CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS FOR CASA VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF

The educational setting is an important area of advocacy for CASA. This workshop will focus on the many educational issues pertaining to students in foster care or at risk of out of home placement, including early intervention, special education, legislation regarding educational stability, disciplinary procedures and transitioning to college. Workshop will include time for questions.

Presented by Teresa Speranza, MA, the Education Coordinator with the Child Welfare Unit of the Westchester Institute for Human Development.
