CASA Fundamentals: Report Writing

Join us for a continuing education in service. Open to CASA volunteers, volunteers in training and CASA staff.

The writing of effective, concise reports for family court is a signature components of CASA’s advocacy work. It is through these reports that CASA provides information to the court that assists judges in making decisions in children’s best interests. It is also through these reports that CASA informs the court of unmet needs that the children and family may be experiencing. In this workshop, Barbara will lead CASA volunteers and staff through the fundamentals of report writing. Targeted to current and new CASA volunteers and program staff.

Presented by Barbara Morgen. Barbara is an Advocate Supervisor with CASA of Westchester and Putnam Counties, a program of the Mental Health Association of Westchester. Barbara has held this position for sixteen years. Barbara is also a member of the Board of Directors of CASA of New York State.
